The work of eleven contributors under the editorship of the Baptist Union Archivist, this volume presents in chronological sequence the story of Baptists during their first ninety years.
This narrative section is followed by a thematic section covering: overseas missions, home mission, evangelism, the North Perth Circuit, ministries to Aborigines, ministerial trainsing and theological education, youth ministries, women in Baptist churches.

Baptist History in Western Australia
The Baptist Historical Society has produced two monographs treating the history of Baptists in Western Australia.
The first takes their story to 1985. As well as a narrative section it has a thematic section dealing with eight areas of significance for Western Australian Baptists in their first ninety years.
In the second work, the centenary volume, the narrative section is not only brought up to date, but has been almost entirely re-written.
While it lacks the thematic section of the first volume, it contains a dictionary covering biographical sketches of those in pastoral ministry as well as significant lay people, profiles of churches, and some general entries.
